The place is amazing! One of the best and most creative sushi/fusion places. The mix of Asian and Latin cuisines is a perfect union. What a great fusion concept with perfect decor and friendly atmosphere. The food is incredible and service is a outstanding. The food is always fresh and delicious. All of their meals are flavorful and quality is TOPNOTCH! I highly recommend Japanerio's!

When I visit my sister (from Georgia), I insist we eat here. This avocado soup os amazing. Japaneiro's is my sister's favorite place for happy hour. Great service, fresh food.

I had always heard about this place, but decided to give it a try for the first time. Being that I am a picky eater, I was not sure if I would enjoy the food or the atmosphere - but I must say I loved both! The portion sizes were generous, the chicken and the soup were delicious, as well as was the salad. The atmosphere is amazing - located in the heart of Sugar Land City Walk. I would especially like to add that Eli is an amazing server! He truly cares about people and offered A+ service! I will most definitely be returning!! Thank you again, Eli for the awesome experience! 🙏

The Shaggy Dog roll is the kind of fancy foolishness a country boy like me is almost embarrassed to love, but Lord help me, I do. It comes out like an overexcited lab that heard the cheese drawer open, fully fluffed in crab like it just left a bougie dog spa in River Oaks. The first bite hits with that fried shrimp crunch---honest, hardworking, like it knows its people---then the sweet eel sauce and spicy mayo come chasing behind it, slick as gossip on a hot porch. It doesn't whisper flavor, it testifies. If sushi purists want to roll their eyes, they can go right on ahead... this ain't for them. This is for the rest of us, the ones raised on cast iron and casseroles, and who still believe a little excess now and then is proof the Lord loves us. And by the last bite, friend, you'll be convinced He does.

As a risotto enthusiast, I must say that this dish is meticulously curated to ensure that the flavors harmonize beautifully, resulting in a delectable culinary experience. The breadcrumbs on the salmon add an extra layer of deliciousness to the dish. Truly an incredible creation!
